The prestigious James White Award has announced its jury of judges for the 2012 competition. Established in 2000, the award is only open to non-professional writers, with the winner having the chance to see their work published in Interzone magazine.
The judges this year will include Interzone editors Andy Cox and Andrew Hedgecock along with Ian McDonald and Aliette de Bodard.
Ian McDonald was first published in 1989 with Desolation Road and has gone on to win numerous awards including three BSFA awards as well as a Hugo for his novelette Djinn’s Wife. Aliette de Bodard is an exciting new talent, recently earning acclaim for her Obsidian and Blood trilogy and winning a BSFA award in 2010.
