BSFA 2018 Awards: Voting Form

The 2018 BSFA Awards have now been awarded.

How to Vote: Mark your choices in each category in order of preference: ‘1’ for first place, ‘2’ for second place, etc.

You are not required to rank all the nominees in any category.

Advance votes must be received by Monday 15th April 2019, either electronic or postal.

If you intend to send votes by post instead of electronically,  please remember to include your BSFA membership number (you will find this on the envelope of your latest mailing) and your name and address. Return your postal votes to: BSFA Awards, 9 Montgomery Road, Cambridge CB4 2EQ.

EASTERCON: Those attending Eastercon can vote at the BSFA stand until noon on the day of the awards ceremony, which is on Saturday 20th April. If you are attending Eastercon, you do not need to be a member of the BSFA to take part in the vote.

We are very pleased to let you know that we have been working with the Best Short Fiction nominated authors and publishers to bring members the now traditional BSFA Awards booklet. We are endeavouring to get this finalised as soon as possible in order to give members as much advance reading time as possible. The idea behind the booklet was to allow for fair representation of those stories that were no longer commercially available in order to encourage participation in this category. In the past, many authors and publishers of works that were still commercially available have kindly also allowed us to reproduce their work in the same booklet in order to make it more convenient for our members to access their work for the purposes of voting. More recently, we have also been able to include extracts of work from the Best Non-fiction category. Please note that we cannot always guarantee that the work will be made available to us to use, but this year we will very happily be able to provide a booklet for members.

The BSFA Awards, along with other honours and prizes, can be your gateway to discovering great new fiction, non-fiction and artwork: we would always encourage our members to support the creators where they can by buying their books.
